The yishuv of Dolev is a small village with a population of about 1,400 people. It is in very close proximity to Ramallah – a Palestinian city with about 40,000 people, which is clearly visible from most of our balconies.

At this time, the civilians living in Dolev (women, babies, children, men and the elderly) need to be protected. Most of the men who normally serve on our Security team have been drafted to serve in their army units elsewhere, leaving the protection of the yishuv to a committed group of  trained volunteers who will be the first to encounter terrorists in case of an attack, God forbid. Their unwavering courage and dedication is nothing short of heroic. However, our protectors are lacking professional gear and equipment to do their job, and need immediate support to ensure they have the basic supplies essential for their safety and effectiveness. The government, burdened with the overwhelming responsibility of supplying all units and troops throughout Israel with the necessary equipment, is stretched thin and unable to provide the necessary supplies.
